The Penn State fans were pretty cocky coming into this year’s match-up against OSU. They also mocked Terrelle Pryor relentlessly for crying after losing a tough game last year. Who’s crying now Penn State? How do feel about Pryor now?
OSU simply dominated in every phase of the game. Offense, defense, and special teams. They looked shocked all game by our speed, strength and athleticism. Maybe in the future they will schedule a couple of non-conference teams who aren’t tomato cans, so they can prepare for OSU a little better. Temple and Syracuse don’t help you get ready.
As a penn state fan i cannot disagree with most of what you guys are saying…you were by far the better team..we definitely got our asses handed to us…and yes we definitely need better non conference teams on our schedule..but Pryor a “man amongst boys”…hardly…he had one good long ball..other than that was very inaccurate, much as he has been his whole career…any talk of him being a pro style QB is rubbish
PSUfan, for me, it was just all about the plays he made when it mattered. He had multiple 5-10 yard runs that were back-breaking for you guys. He didn’t turn the ball over, and for the first time, let the game come to him. As far as accuracy, I think in fairness to Pryor, our young receivers Posey and Carter dropped 4 easy balls. If they catch 2 or 3 of those, he suddenly completes 60%. He did miss a few throws for sure, but when it came to his feet, nobody on PSU knew what hit them. I think in his second year, it’s early to throw him out as a pro QB. Regardless, he definitely has the tools to be a great college QB.
Love the video Steve. Lets just say my relatives in State College aren’t doing a whole lot of talking right now.
Awesome video. Pryor looked like a man among boys, and the O-Line finally showed their potential. The D is as good as advertised.
